Tagged: wine cheese chocolate delicious

My wine tasting this weekend was a complete success! Above is a photo of the plates I offered for the event.
Clockwise from the top right, I have roasted eggplant/tomato/garlic dip, hershey kisses Dark chocolate, guava paste, San Pietro cheese, Shropshire Bleu, medley of sharp cheddar, caciocavallo, and fresh mozzarella cheeses, apples marinated in lemon juice and fresh rosemary and serrano ham layered together, and in the centre brie. (water crackers, saltines, and butter crackers not shown.)
Super YUM.

Tagged: cake flan delicious

A most DELICIOUS piece of cake!
My new assistant graphic designer used to work for a bakery in little italy (one of many interesting jobs she has held).  She made this for one of our exhibit aides’s birthday, it’s called Chocoflan, a recipe from Columbia (where she is from).  It’s dense delicious chocolate cake (which I don’t usually prefer) topped with flan and then covered with a caramel sauce—IT WAS FREAKIN AMAZING! I took one bite and couldn’t contain myself, I grabbed my camera and took this picture to remember it by.
I totally had a piece for breakfast when I came in the next morning.
