The bartender when I worked Churchill’s brunch always switched the sirius to a channel that somehow this was always one of the first songs that would play. It became the sunday brunch theme song. Every now and then (like this morning) it creeps into my head from nowhere and brings me back, aah, waiting tables…

Wish I took a picture:
I just walked by a group of pigeons pecking at a slice of pizza. The triangle shape was still intact, only the cheese, sauce, and top layer of soft dough had been pecked away. I was oddly impressed and humored that they hadn’t even touched the crust.
